Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the beach and the main high street. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there was a musty smell. The service was lacking in basic skills. The breakfast options were cheap but not well-prepared. The pool was enjoyable but the bar lacked drink options.
I had a wonderful stay at Leisureplex hotel. The rooms were spacious with a lovely sea view and a large double bed, making it super cozy and warm. Car parking was hassle-free, which was a relief after previous experiences elsewhere. The service was excellent, with reception quickly solving any room issues and providing storage for bikes. The location was perfect, perched on the cliff top above Shanklin beach, with a delicious breakfast to start the day. The dining experience was decent but could have been quieter and more relaxed. Overall, a pleasant stay with great value for money.
The room was clean and comfortable, but being located under the main restaurant where a live band played till late with a 7-year-old was not ideal. The price of £252 for 2 nights didn’t seem worth it for the room received. However, the room had a new bathroom and carpet which added to the comfort.
